Dot's Diner On the Hill in Boulder

Hole-in-the-wall diner with made-from-scratch, American breakfast and lunch staples (and some Mexican) for reasonable prices. Excellent service.

Great deals and fantastic food. I always get a cinnamon roll and some fried eggs, and it doesn't disappoint. The staff is absolutely fantastic and friendly. Would always recommend.

This place is way too hyped for how so-so the food was. I got a skillet like plate, potatoes, green peppers, onions etc, and my green peppers were not even cooked and the cheese on top was not even melted. Shame it was not as good as everyone told me it would be. Save your money and make breakfast at home - it will taste better and cost less!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Boulder. Unpretentious & casual atmosphere, feels a lot more like an east-coast diner than other "diners" in Boulder. Love the breakfast options, esp as they have a decent vegetarian selection. Staff are always friendly & welcoming. Also a great place to sit and work between meal rushes. We love you, Dot's!

Great service. We went in with two strollers and our server helped us get them up the couple of steps there are to the back dining room. There is a nice changing table in the bathroom. My toddler really enjoyed the wall art and they had a shelf of kid toys too. I had the garden burger and it was delicious!

Good old down home comfort food like the diners back home we all love on the east coast! Nothing like a satisfying filing breakfast, and this place gets it right. Good size portions, good coffee,friendly staff, and lots of choices on the menu. Everything was cooked beautifully, just like I asked for it. They even got my eggs over medium right. Hidden gem.

If you need an affordable diner, Dot's on the Hill has very good service, friendly people, and the food is better than your average diner. This place is also a historic landmark of Boulder :) Go for breakfast!

Not your typical diner. The homemade biscuits are absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. And they have homemade raspberry jam in a bottle on the counter (which I added to my vanilla milkshake). Can't wait to come back!

Really hate to give this joint a lukewarm review as the staff is fantastic and I love the vibe of the place.But unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the breakfast I just had.Being from the South,I know what's up with a good biscuit and bacon.While my eggs and hash browns were good,the huge biscuit was overly dry and lacked any flavor(didn't finish it).And the whimpy looking bacon seemed precooked and old.With so many stellar places in Boulder to grab Sunday breakfast,I will unfortunately be passing on Dots on my next outing.

As the name suggests, this is a diner style breakfast/lunch joint. Food comes in great portions and the ambience is super comfy. Great staff.

Dot's has delicious food at very reasonable prices, and their staff is very kind. And they have widely-spaced outdoor seating!

The food was good and I can tell you for sure because I used to cook there 20 years ago. For me it was fun to go there and not have anybody know who I was, except the one guy that recognize me on his way out the door. The other two dots diners are just as good though I recommend them both!

Cinnamon roll was hot, but microwaved, so tough. Can't speak to the rest of the food as we had to give up after forty minutes. Diners shouldn't be a prolonged ordeal....

Best Diner out there, been going for 15 years, this one is even better then the other locations. It's a true establishment, great service, and serves up some of my favorite breakfast.

Best old school diner, but suggest going mid week. Too busy on weekends, unless you enjoy crowds.

The only place I eat breakfast if I have the choice . Food is excellent. Family run business. Very kind people. Vegan and vegetarian options. Most plates come fresh from the oven. Not a microwave.

Mediocre food, buried in far too much sauce.

Dot's is always a treat. Head there before 8:30 for the early bird prices. You can grab a couple eggs, hashed browns, toast, and a coffee for about 7 or 8 bucks. There's almost no one there before 8:00 most days so it's a quick stop too and the service is lovely.

I love coming to Dot's and today they have John Prime on the radio. Rassberry jam!!!

Food was good as expected from a decent diner the only reason it wasn't a five star review is due to the waiting time for your food to be ready. Might have been a weekend and all but 45 minutes to get your plate is still quite a bit. Other than that they had good food and nice staff!

I love dots. I love their food. The way it feels going down my esophagus just can’t be beat. This truly is where the folks (me and the boys) get our yolks!

A boulder standby, love the atmosphere and the food

I prefer this location of dots. Fast service, good staff and consistent food. I go here every few weeks for breakfast and am not disappointed.

I got a half order of huevos rancheros. It was a decent-size plate of food. One egg two tortillas plenty of sauce and just the right amount of cheese. It was well-prepared and yummy. I also had a pint of hot chai tea that was also excellent. I've been to dots several times on my visits to Boulder and it's always great food. I noticed chicken curry on the special board today. That's a new twist. I think I'll try it for brunch next time.

The service was amazing and the food was on another whole other level! The French toast in particular was incredible.

Ordered through DD for lunch at work today. WORTH IT! I am so glad I picked this place to order from. I never had it before today, and the enchiladas were outstanding! The entire menu looks delightful, and I plan to try it all.

Good food, good service and good price

If I was a star track athlete, I would rather have both my legs irreparably broken then ever go through that experience again. After over an hour our food came out microwaved, the plate was hotter than anything else. The potatoes were raw and coated in way too much seasoning, probably an attempt to cover up the borderline animal feed they were serving. Aside from the terrible food, our server was, to put it gently, HEAVILY interested in my girlfriend. The only redeeming quality was the sweet blonde waitress who periodically refilled our coffee. Overall, -4 out of 10.
